Job Context:

As an EGP Executive at our organization, you will play a vital role in coordinating with different government entities, including LGED (Local Government Engineering Department) and PWD (Public Works Department) in Bangladesh. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare tender documents for manual submission and the e-Government Procurement (e-GP) portal of the Bangladesh Government. Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various government departments, including LGED and PWD, to understand their procurement requirements and project scopes.
  • Prepare and compile tender documents in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the e-GP portal and manual submission processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather all necessary information, pricing details, and technical specifications for inclusion in tender documents.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation, verifying that all necessary approvals and authorizations are in place.
  • Submit tender documents on time, following the prescribed procedures for both manual submissions and the e-GP portal.
  • Maintain proper records of all tender submissions and related communications with government agencies.
  • Assist in conducting market research and supplier assessments to identify potential vendors for government projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in government procurement regulations and e-GP portal requirements, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Work closely with the finance and budgeting teams to ensure cost estimations and financial details are accurately reflected in tender documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and implementation activities related to government procurement.

Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience in government procurement processes and familiarity with e-Government Procurement (e-GP) portal usage is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in working with LGED, PWD, or other government entities involved in infrastructure projects is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of tender document preparation, including cost estimations, technical specifications, and submission procedures.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement regulations and guidelines in Bangladesh.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with government officials and internal teams.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate and timely completion of all procurement tasks.
  • The EGP Executive is required to achieve a minimum of 50 Lac taka work order or works in a month to archive the salary. The incentive will provide additional value archive.

  • Fluency in English and Bangla, both written and spoken.

Educational Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a relevant field.
